Part-Time Instructor of Theology

Turner was born and raised in Denver, CO, and moved to Spokane for his undergraduate degree at Moody Bible Institute, Spokane. While there, he learned a love for Biblical languages, rigorous academic work, and teaching. He was also developed personally by his education at Moody in a number of ways. He developed a priority for having a posture of humility with others, as well as a love for God as the greatest good a human can pursue.

After Moody, Turner completed a graduate degree at Talbot seminary in La Mirada, CA. This degree was focused on classical Christian theology and philosophy, and Turner’s studies honed in on forming a meaningful anthropology, as well as the works of St. Thomas Aquinas. At Talbot, Turner deepened a commitment to God as the goal of all things, and formed many deep friendships with people he still spends time with today. Turner is excited to help students form excellent worldviews, that they may think “Christianly” about all things.
